I was just reading about that the other day how Satan likes to use distractions in our lives like video games, busy stuff, agenda items of things that need to get done, from keeping us from spending quality time with HIm. Maria's passing taught me once again that we do not know when our time is up, but when He calls us home we will have no choice but to go home: no more agenda items, no more busy stuff, no more video games. That is why we must live life as though today may be our last. I am grateful that I always made time for my kids, took them on family outings, helped them with building a tree house/ play house, attended field trips. I am grateful that I was able to say no to alot of things that I knew would interfere with my relationship with my family and our faith in Christ. At least, I have no 'regrets' of what I wished I had done differently.
I know that no matter what happens to us in this life we can be assured that God will provide the means to get through those circumstances if we're walking in Him!

Hey Todd ,
Thank you for visiting! I am glad to hear you have the fellowship and walk you have, that is undoubtedly a big part of Gods plan in our staying healthy. I agree - I have no idea how I would cope today (given my circumstances) without a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It seems many of the worlds aims are at distracting us from having a deep meaningful walk with Jesus Christ, even if the distraction is just a noisy "look over there".

Cousin Dave,
I really like your new website. I am amazed what God is doing in your life through your music and your sincere faith in Jesus Christ. God is speaking to me in many ways through his Word, and through the fellowship with other believers at our church in New Hope. It has been 2 years since our little girl went unexpectantly to heaven. It hasn't been easy these past couple of years and I am forever greatful for my faith in Christ who has sustained me through these difficult times. Our God is an awesome God, indeed! Our God can carry us when we go through the most painful circumstances in our lives. I simply do not know how we would have coped if we didn't have Christ in our lives. It is my prayer that others who may be going through similar painful circumstances will turn to Jesus and ask Him to be their cornerstone in their life.
